I’m attached to the Department of Zoology at University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. While my general interests are in the fields of herpetology, wildlife conservation, behavioural ecology and conservation biology, my specific fields of research interest include the study of: local distributional patterns of gekkonid lizards, the structure and assemblage of snake communities, the behavioural ecology of snakes, reproduction strategies in geckos and herpetological biodiversity in protected areas.
