Sonerila sp

Habitus herb. Stem cylindrical, hairy, woody; without sap; interpetiolar ridge insconspicuous, hairy. Leaf simple, opposite, without stipule; petioles cylindrical, glabrous; blades lanceolate-oblong, ovate; apex acuminate; base acute; three nerved; margin serrate; upper surface glabrous, dark green; lower surface glabrous, light green. Inflorescence axillar, peduncles terete, glabrous; flower calyx with three sepals, glabrous; corolla with three petals, flower color bright purple. Sonerila sp was found in Mount Kinabalu.

Leaf simple, opposite, without stipule; petioles cylindrical, glabrous; blades lanceolate-elliptical; apex acuminate; base cordate; three nerved; margin entire; upper surface glabrous, dark green; lower surface glabrous, light green. Flower axillar, peduncle angular. Distribution, Mount Kinabalu.

Habitus shrub. Stem cylindrical, hairy, woody, without sap; interpetiolar ridge insconspicuous, without hairs. Leaf simple, opposite, without stipule; petioles cylindrical, glabrous; blades lanceolate-elliptical; apex acuminate; base cordate; five nerved; margin serrate; upper surface hairy, dark green; lower surface hairy, light green. Inflorescence axillar and terminal; peduncles angular, hairy; flower calyx with five sepals, hairy; flower color white, corolla with five petals. Located in Kota Kinabalu and Maliau Basin.

 



 

Clidemia sp 2

Habitus shrub. Stem cylindrical, hairy, woody, without sap; interpetiolar ridge insconspicuous, hairy. Leaf simple, opposite, without stipule; petioles cylindrical, hairy; blades lanceolate; apex acuminate; base cordate; five nerved; margin serrulate with white hairs; upper surface hairy; lower surface hairy. Inflorescence axillar; peduncles cylindrical, hairy; flower calyx with five sepals, hairy; corolla with five petals, flower color white. Fruits subglobose, hairy. Distributed in Sepilok and Maliau Basin.
