Premises. The results of statistics convince us that there is a difference in composition and abundance of Basidiomycota growing on logs between the forest gaps, partial gaps, and in the forest. Forest gap species are more abundant and diverse because supported by supply of water, and therefore Basidiomycota play an important role as a decomposer.

Statement. Based on our research, type of habitat affected the composition and abundance of Basidiomycota growing on dead logs.
