Physique : Body robust; head large; body thick-set, with scattered tubercles on dorsal surface; males with 11-16 preanal pores in a short angular series.
Habit : Nocturnal; arboreal.
Habitat : From human habitations to forests. It inhabits forested-habitats in the lowlands as well as the midhills.
Natural History : Its call is reminiscent of a dog’s bark, comprising 1-3 short barks, typically followed by a whirring sound. Diet comprises insects, such as grasshoppers and two eggs, measuring 19x20mm, are laid at time..
