Locations : Lambir Hills NP. Scalation : Tympanum scaleless; dewlap triangular, covered with small scales; nostrils oriented laterally; dorsal crest absent; neck lappets with large scales; males and females with a reduced nuchal crest consisting of triangular scales; supralabials 8-10; lamellae under toe IV 20-27; dorsals smooth, sometimes inter mixed with some larger scales. Habit : Diurnal ; arboreal. Habitat : Forests in plains and midhills. Natural History : Feeds exclusively on small black ants. Gravid females have been found in July, and clutches of 3-4 are known.
