Description: Leaves and stalk light green, without distinctive vegetative characters. Ligule short with no petiole or pulvinus. Flowers white and tubular , arranged spirally along the terminus of a short, red basal stalk. Held by short red peduncles with no bracts visible.

Distribution: Kinabalu

Ecology/Habitat: Observed in the botanical gardens at the base of the mountain, growing along a river embankment in full sun exposure.
