I am a plant ecologist, interested in evolutionary ecology, biodiversity and biogeography, with special regards to community phylogenetics and niche evolution. My work has focused on understanding the infuences of ecological and historical factors that shaping plant distribution and assembly over various scales. I also keep interests in statistical programming using R and C to solve ecological problems.

Research interests

  • Distribution patterns of phylogenetic and functional diversity
  • Adaptive radiation of the niches
  • Phylogenetic comparative methods
